Marco Rose

  • "It was a high-quality match with a lot of dynamism and a high tempo. It was back-and-forth and could have gone either way. I think a draw is fair in the end. Bayern were the dominant side in the second half.

I felt like we had the better chances though. The final pass was just missing sometimes or there was a tight offside call. We didn't give them much down the other end. If Benjamin Šeško nutmegs Ulreich at the end, then he's away. I think it's the right result though."

Yussuf Poulsen

  • "We put in a really good performance up until we got an unfortunate penalty given against us. We had control of the game, although we knew that there would be more pressure coming our way. We switched to counterattacking football after that and hoped we could get a third goal that way.

I think we had Bayern where we wanted them up until the penalty. We defended well until the end though and didn't allow them many chances. If Šeško had managed to knock the ball past Ulreich at the end, then we would have come away with the win.“

Janis Blaswich

  • "It's a disappointing 2-2 draw for us in the end, because we did extremely well in the first half. The second half was tough, especially because we conceded the equaliser immediately following a corner for us. We cannot allow that to happen.

I chose the right corner on the penalty, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. Kane hit it too well. The end of the game was very intense once again. We will now analyse the game and prepare to go again on Wednesday against Manchester City."

Emil Forsberg

  • "It was a tough game. It's not always easy to see out a game when you're 2-0 up at half time. Bayern are a very talented team and they never stop. We needed to be fully focused at all times.

However, we also showed that we are a strong team. We need to shift our focus now to the next game against Manchester City and be 100% ready for that."
