RB Leipzig go into the resumption of the Bundesliga season on 20th January 2023 in third place in the table. Their opponents for the first home game of the New Year are none other than record champion and currently leaders Bayern Munich. But until then, let’s first take a look back at how the season has gone up until now.

After an unsuccessful start to the season, the team has picked up momentum following the change in head coach on 8th September, when Marco Rose replaced Domenico Tedesco. Since 1st October, there has been a impressive run of results, with RBL unbeaten in 13 competitive matches.
