Season 2023/24 – Check!
Our 15th season is over, the team is on summer break before some of our boys take part in the 2024 European Championships in Germany.
All players who are not taking part in the 2024 European Championship will start their first session on the pitch on July 8th.
RB Leipzig will play a test match against regional league team FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt on July 19th at the training center at Cottaweg. The game will be private and therefore played without spectators.
The Red Bulls will train in Leipzig until July 27th before the RBL team sets off on its first US tour to New York on July 28th and meets Premier League fourth-placed side Aston Villa in a friendly on July 31st. Marco Rose’s team will then play another friendly match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in Miami on August 4th.
After returning from the USA on August 4th, we will be back in Leipzig on August 5th to put the finishing touches before the first competitive game in the DFB Cup (August 16th to 19th).
Further test games are also planned, but these have not yet been finalized. Depending on how the tournament goes, the national team players start their preparations later.
