RB Leipzig’s women’s team have successfully won promotion to the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga!
FSV Gütersloh’s 2-1 defeat against FC Ingolstadt 04 ensured that Leipzig could no longer be ousted from the promotion places. With third-placed SG 99 Andernach declining to apply for a top-flight license, it meant that no other team would be in a position to challenge RBL for either of the two promotion places – with six matchdays left to go!
