General information
Accessing the stadium via the Festwiese field:
Despite construction works on the Festwiese field, you can still go around them on the left and right and reach the turnstiles. Please use both routes so that there is an even distribution of fans arriving.
Standing section regulations (sector B):
Please note the following information to allow for optimal access to the blocks in sector B:
- The whole of sector B is a standing section.
- The whole of sector B is general admission and you are not entitled to a space in a specific block (the block numbers on your ticket are irrelevant).
- Please spread out across the entire sector and please move together where applicable to make space (one seating space creates two standing spaces).
- Always keep stairways clear.
Wearing away clothing items:
Sectors B and D are RB Leipzig fan blocks. As per the stadium regulations, you are only permitted to wear RBL or neutral colours in these sections. You are permitted to wear away colours in sectors A and C.
Travelling to the stadium
Roadworks
We recommend arriving early to the ground and to plan enough time for your journey. There are a number of roadworks around the city that will make the traffic worse. We would also recommend fans to use public transport.
- Please be aware that the Waldstraßenviertel area cannot be driven in within three hours of kick-off (from 15:45 CEST onwards) - only residents are allowed access.
Parking, bicycle station, weather:
Parking:
Please note that there are no parking spaces close to the stadium. Please use the Park & Ride spaces and car parks in the city.
Bicycle station:
In order to allow fans to travel to the game in an environmentally friendly way, there are 1,000 spaces for bicycles at our bicycle station at the Festwiese. Fans can leave their bikes here for free, where they will also be guarded. This service will also help to reduce the number of fans travelling to the game by car.
This station opens two and a half hours before the game (16:15 CEST) and will be open for 90 minutes after full time.
Weather:
Wednesday is forecast to be mild and dry, with a high of 15°C.

RB Leipzig stands for diversity and openness. For human dignity and tolerance. For a colourful and peaceful club, fan and football culture. RB Leipzig stands for the fundamental values in our society and condemns any acts of xenophobia, racism, glorification of violence, homophobia, transphobia, discrimination, sexism, sexual assault, anti-semitism, anti-constitutionalism or left- and right-wing extremism. We welcome everyone, regardless of their beliefs, heritage, skin colour or sexual identity.
That's why we started the #DeinBlickZählt (Your view matters) campaign.
Look out for one another. Don't look the other way if you witness anything in the Red Bull Arena that goes against our stance mentioned above. You can use the code "#DeinBlickzählt" to communicate about any such incidents or report them to the following email address: deinblickzählt@redbulls.com
Smoke-free stands:
After a number of requests from our fans, we have decided that smoking is no longer permitted in the ground. We want to help families with their children feel comfortable in the stadium.
We will be enforcing the smoking ban and take action if people ignore the instructions repeatedly. Please be considerate of others.
In the lower tier of the stands, there are smoking areas marked with a red line behind the last row in stands for those who wish to smoke. In the upper tiers, you are allowed to smoke from the bridges leading to the grassy banks and beyond, but not within the stadium perimeter.
Payment:
Only cashless payment is possible in the whole of the Red Bull Arena to speed up the service around the ground.
You can use debit cards and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Amex) at all kiosks, as well as paying with your mobile phone (Apple Pay, Google Pay).
