Great news! A 50% increase in supporters allowed at the ground has been granted for the home game against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday (17th February, 21:00 CET). 24,758 fans are permitted to attend the match at the Red Bull Arena.

Health authority approves 50%
Due to the constant low rates of patients in intensive care and hospital, the city of Leipzig’s health authority has approved 50% of the stadium to be filled against Real Sociedad in the Europa League on the basis of the §21a Emergency Corona act in Saxony.
The final decision was made by Leipzig’s health authority on Saturday (12th February) after Friday’s home game against 1. FC Köln (11th February) and on the basis of the current hospitalisation rates in hospitals (both in intensive care and general wards).
