RB Leipzig take on Real Sociedad

RBL will be playing in the Europa League in the new year after securing third place in the UEFA Champions League group stage. The Red Bulls have been drawn against Spanish side Real Sociedad in the first knockout round.
The two fixtures will be played on the 17th and 24th Feburary 2022. The first leg will be played at the RB Arena.

"Real Sociedad is an attractive draw that we are all looking forward to here at RB Leipzig, because we'll see a familiar face in Alex Sørloth. We want to carry on making a name for ourselves in Europe and will try to reach the last 16 of the Europa League.
This is our sixth year in the Bundesliga and fifth in Europe, so we want to carry on building and establish ourselves further. After the spectacle at the Red Bull Arena against PSG, we're hoping to be able to play in front of our fans here again against Real Sociedad."
