• Amadou Haidara was subbed in at the 66th minute against Union Berlin, after having recovered from a concussion suffered during the Leverkusen match on Matchday 2.
   

Suspensions

• Manager Marco Rose saw two yellow cards for complaining to the referee, which means he will be suspended for the next home match against Union Berlin.
   
• Our captain Willi Orban saw the red card in the 84th minute against VfL Bochum (1-0, Matchday 1). He was suspended for two matches and won't be available for a Bundesliga fixture until Matchday 4, against FC Sankt Pauli.
   

Injuries

• Xaver Schlager is currently rehabilitating an ACL tear suffered in May. 
   
• Assan Ouedraogo suffered a knee injury during the US Tour. He is expected to be out of action for several weeks.
