Christopher Lenz will be leaving RB Leipzig at the end of the 2023/24 season. The Berlin-born footballer played in eight matches for the Red Bulls during the past season.
The defender moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to Leipzig in summer 2023, making his debut on Matchday 4, a 3-0 home win against FC Augsburg.
The defenseman took over an important role under head coach Marco Rose and, along with German international David Raum, formed the left-side defense for the 2022 and 2023 DFB Cup titles.
