"It will be an entertaining affair again!"
Marco Rose and André Silva spoke to the press ahead of the second leg against Celtic | Marcel Halstenberg will miss the match
Marco Rose on…
…the atmosphere at Celtic Park:
- "It's a great stadium, with fantastic fans. The atmosphere will be great and we are expecting a good crowd with an audience who understands football and not only supports their team, but also appreciates it when the opposition plays well. We want to achieve that tomorrow. The atmosphere will be great, and we're looking forward to it. We have the chance to pick up more points in the Champions League in a fantastic stadium - we can't wait for a big game."
…looking forward to the second leg:
- "We have recovered well from the game in Mainz, and travelled to Glasgow today. We prepared with a video session at the hotel and then had our final training session at the ground. The team look good. Of course, we will need to increase the intensity on matchday and show the right mindset, attitude and body language. I'm confident that the lads will manage this."
…the upcoming game against Celtic:
- "Two teams are facing off that have a similar style of play. There's not much that will have changed from the first leg. Of course both of us will have made the one or the other adjustment.
But, both teams will look to stick to their way of playing, and will look to win the ball and press. It could be similar to the first leg and I'm certain that it was will be entertaining again. We are ready, but will need to be alert right from the start, take advantage of the opportunities that come and deliver a strong performance for 90 minutes."
Final training at Celtic Park
André Silva:
- "It won't be an easy game for us, especially because of the fans and the atmosphere. But, as kids we dreamed of playing in stadiums such as this.
We need to give it everything right until the end again, in order to be able to win the second leg as well. We need to be a team and remain compact, while also bringing the same energy as in the 3-1 win.
Of course it's important and good to score as a striker. I scored twice in the first leg. I want to build on that now, and want to score again. It's important that I keep working hard in order to get in the best positions to score. The success of the team comes first, however. If I'm able to help out with goals, then that's even better."
