"We let off a firework!"
Head coach Domenico Tedesco as well as goalscorers André Silva and Emil Forsberg on the 4-0 home win against FC Augsburg.
Domenico Tedesco:
- "It's not every day that you lose a European cup semi-final - we had to swallow that. To deliver such a performance three days later makes me relieved and happy for the team. It was not an easy game; the start was a bit rough. That makes the way we found our way into the game more impressive.
We're lucky to have Philipp Tschauner. Every player trusts him and he's always got time to listen to everyone. The least we could do was make it possible for him to play again."
André Silva:
- "I feel good, as do the whole team. We’ve had a couple of bad games over the past couple of weeks but today we could enjoy ourselves, which is reflected in the performance and the goals. Defeats also make you stronger. We have so much quality in the team and we can be dangerous in many ways."
Emil Forsberg:
- "We showed a reaction, which was important for us, the fans and the club. The game was a good step forward. We stood compact and let off a firework in the second half. We played some really good football.
We're looking forward to the next two games. Everything is at stake: Champions League qualification and the DFB-Pokal. This is why we play football; how can you not love it?"
