"Sometimes there's a bit of luck involved!"
Head coach Domenico Tedesco, goalscorer Dominik Szoboszlai and captain Péter Gulácsi react to the 1-0 win away in Leverkusen
Domenico Tedesco:
- "We're pleased with the win. It wasn't a brilliant performance from either side. In the first five minutes we had all the possession and Leverkusen were strong on the counter, as are we. Then we scored the goal.
The boys did really well in the second half. It's always important not to concede against the best sides. It was important that we got out of the press and brought more depth into the game.
We always want to press the opponent, we want to create overloads, and we want to force the opponent deep.
We have a deep squad and therefore enough options to be fresh on Wednesday."

Dominik Szoboszlai:
- "It was a difficult game, because we’d just played against Atalanta on Thursday. We made some changes to the team but didn’t lose any quality. That meant we could still be fresh. In the end we just wanted the win more.
I made a deep run and Christo played it into my path. I connected well with the outside of my foot, it got a bit of a deflection - there's a bit of luck there."
Péter Gulácsi:
- "It was a difficult game. We weren't very good in the first half and were a bit sloppy. Obviously it's not easy when you play on Thursday and have to go again on Sunday, but we're can manage it. The second half was better and we were quicker and more accurate.
We could bring in some fresh players, like on Thursday. We have a lot of quality on the bench. We're always in the position to be able to add something else to the game."
